Personal Statement

A personal statement is an essay that specifically connects you to the internship program.  You should articulate how your background, skillset, and passion complement and connect with the stated goals and directives of the internship program.

The Personal Statement prompt is available here.

Resume

A resume should provide insight as to your professional credentials: where you worked and your responsibilities; what secondary and post-secondary academic achievements you amassed; what institutions you attended, and the programs and majors you belonged to;  the extracurriculars you participated in; etc.

Unofficial Transcript

An unofficial transcript is a PDF print out of your grades.  This is not an official transcript from the registrar's office.  This is an unofficial document, provided on your honor, to show what post-secondary academic work you have done, and where you have done it.

Letter of Recommendation

A letter of recommendation should be from someone who can speak to your professionalism and who you are as a worker or scholar.  (This is not a character reference about you being a swell person; no family or friends!)  This should be from a supervisor, boss, professor, teacher, scoutmaster, etc.

On your application form, you will provide Four Oxen with the contact information of the person you have confirmed will write a letter of recommendation on your behalf.
